1. What these terms cover

Bitrix24 Comment Manager is published by PalWorks, which operates from Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and Madurai, India.

These terms apply to three things we publish:

• the Bitrix24 Comment Manager Chrome extension
• this website
• the support service at b24.palworks.ai

They do not cover the backend server you deploy, your Bitrix24 portal, or your use of Bitrix24 itself. Your relationship with Bitrix24 is governed by Bitrix24's own terms, and nothing here changes it.

2. The software licence

The source code is released under the MIT licence. You may use it commercially, modify it, and redistribute it, including as part of a closed product, provided the copyright notice and licence text travel with it. The full text is in LICENSE and it is the licence that governs the code; this page does not narrow it.

3. What is yours to run

This project is deliberately built so that the sensitive parts stay with you. That is a feature, and it is also a responsibility. When you deploy a backend, you are the one who:

• controls the audit log and the CRM data that passes through it
• holds the Bitrix24 application credentials and the encryption key
• decides retention, access and backup
• is the data controller for any personal data it processes, and answers to your users and regulators for it

Keep your TOKEN_ENCRYPTION_KEY safe. If you lose it, the stored Bitrix24 tokens cannot be decrypted and every agent must reconnect. We cannot recover it for you, because we never had it.

You are also responsible for using the extension in a way that is lawful where you operate, including telling your team that their comment activity is being recorded. Recording who wrote what is the entire point of the product, and in many places that is something people must be told about.

4. Acceptable use of our services

The support endpoint is a small server offered for free. When you use it, or this website, please do not:

• send unlawful, abusive, or deliberately misleading content
• use it to send unsolicited messages to anyone, including us
• attempt to circumvent the rate limits, size limits or file type limits, or to use the endpoint as a relay to reach any address other than ours
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to it or to disrupt it for others
• upload malware, or files you do not have the right to share

We may rate limit, block or refuse requests that appear abusive. Because the service is free and small, we make no promise about its availability and may take it down for maintenance without notice.

5. Hosted plans and pricing

We intend to offer hosted backends, and the plans and prices shown in the extension and on this site describe that intention. They are not yet available for purchase.

Until a hosted plan is actually offered and you actually accept it, nothing here is an offer, a contract, or a commitment to supply a service at a particular price or with particular limits. Prices, limits and the plans themselves may change before launch. Joining the notification list creates no obligation on either side, and no charge.

When hosted plans do open, they will come with their own terms covering billing, refunds, uptime and data processing, and you will be asked to accept those separately.

6. No warranty

The software and services are provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. This mirrors the MIT licence, which is the operative grant.

In plain terms: this is audit tooling that we believe works and use ourselves, but you should satisfy yourself that it meets your needs before relying on it for anything that matters. Test your deployment, verify that your audit log is being written, and keep backups.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the authors and copyright holders are not liable for any claim, damages or other liability, whether in an action of contract, tort or otherwise, arising from or in connection with the software or its use. That includes lost data, lost profits, and business interruption.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Trademarks

This is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Bitrix24. Bitrix24 and its logo are trademarks of their respective owner, used here only to describe what this software works with. Google Chrome is a trademark of Google LLC.

9. Changes and termination

These terms may change. The date at the top changes with them, and every edit is visible in this site's public commit history.

You can stop using the extension and the services at any time by removing the extension. Because we hold nothing but correspondence, there is nothing else to close. Your own backend and its data remain entirely yours.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Abu Dhabi have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

This does not affect any mandatory rights you have where you live, and it does not affect the MIT licence, which governs the source code on its own terms wherever you are.
